Following the extraordinary success of artsy experiment Dear Esther, thechineseroom are hard at work on its spiritual successor,EVERYBODY’S GONE TO THE RAPTURE. We sit down with creative director Dan Pinchbeck for a first look at “the absent apocalypse”.
Aaaah! Along with working on Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, thechineseroom is working on this game, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. It’s a spiritual sequel to Dear Esther. I like the idea so far. Playing for 60 minutes, getting to interact with the world and watch these people as their world ends or interact with them and change some events.
Aaaah, I can’t wait. Getting to hear Jessica Curry compose another soundtrack is going to be awesome too. Super excite.

Jesus Christ. I love them so much. Just give me an open world to wander aimlessly for hours and I’ll be happy and this...
